Arrival at Leh airport and transferred to the Sham Valley passing through villages of Sham Valley along the Indus River. Complete day to acclimatize your body to the difference in altitude. O/N Sham.
After breakfast, drive to Kargil, enroute, visit Dha-Hanu. The people who inhabit this area are considered as last race of Indo Aryans, not only their attire is highly decorated with jewellery and flowers, their features are also quite distinct. We also visit Batalik, one of the most famous war front zones fought by the Indian soldiers in 1999 with Pakistan. Arrive in Kargil by evening, enjoy the evening at leisure. O/N Kargil.
After the Breakfast drive to Drass, Known as 2nd Coldest Inhabitated place on earth and visit to Drass War Memorial Hall, Later back to Kargil for Lunch, post lunch leave for Leh, enroute, visit Mulbek Chamba, Lamayuru monastery, Alchi monastery, Sangam, Gurudwara and Hall of Fame museum. Enjoy hot lunch at Lamayuru. Arrive at Leh by evening. O/N Leh.
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft). On your arrival in Nubra Valley check in the hotel / camp. Lunch will be provided by hotel/camp at Nubra. After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. O/N Nubra Valley.
After breakfast, visit Deskit Monastery (Big Buddha), it is a picturesque monastery settled atop a hill and offers an overwhelming view of Nubra Valley. Later, drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. The afternoon is at disposal, you can visit the Shanti Stupa by owns and click some beautiful shots of Sunset in Leh Valley. O/N Leh.
After early Breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) via Changla Pass 17,350 ft, this is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong is the highest salt water lake in the world, shared by India and China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake. Later at free time one can leisurely enjoy the color changing lake of blue and green on a rusty background while the setting sun teases you with awesome vistas which is simply breathtaking. O/N Pangong Lake.
Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh, enroute visit Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace, here you will get a glimpse of livelihood and culture of local residents. O/N Leh.
Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey ends with exotic memories and stories to be related once back home.
